#3 Varina Howell Davis

Varina Howell Davis was the First Lady of the Confederate States of America, 1861-1865.

Her husband, Jefferson Davis, was the 1st, and only, President of the states that chose to form the Confederate States.

She may not have been an official first lady of the United States but she was pretty smokin for her time period (compare to Mary Todd Lincoln, Eliza Johnson, and Julia Grant).
Also, she was the recognized first lady of at least some of the states so she has earned her spot on the list.
